Rayman Legends Retold – The Stunning Remake of the Classic Platformer
After a long time, we are surprisingly going to see another Rayman unforgettable adventure. Rayman Legends Retold is going to feature enhanced visuals and 3D gameplay. It is going to be a modern remake of the game.

Introduction
The game is a remake of Rayman Legends (2013). It is going to be developed by Ubisoft Milan and Ubisoft Montpellier and is going to be published by Ubisoft.
Story & World
After a new villain appears and spreads chaos throughout the world, Rayman, Globox, Barbara, Grand Minimus, and Murphy go through different realms to reach the Glade of Dreams so that they can confront the villain and save the kingdom.
The remake is not like the original Rayman Legends; it includes a new story with expanded character interaction.
Gameplay
If you have played the game, then you know how the gameplay is, but if this is your first time, personally I would describe this game as a 2D version of Mario. You play as a character that moves forward through a world full of obstacles and hidden paths. It is more of a fantasy world. Combat is also more diversified, with punching enemies, aerial attacks, and combo moves.
Rayman Legends Retold has a new progression system where levels are unlocked after collecting a set number of freed Teensies. The game also has dragonfly levels that are in 3D. This is where you control a dragon to fly and charge shots to break walls. There is also a new item, which is a power-up called Power of Light. We think it turns you into gold or gives a golden heart, but nothing has been officially revealed. The new remake adds 5 or 6 new levels.
Co-op Multiplayer
Rayman Legends Retold supports up to four players, and players have the option to choose between four characters: Rayman, Globox, Murphy, and Bubble Dreamer. Kung Foot is a football-based multiplayer game.
This multiplayer can add a lot to the game because it’s cooperative and fun.
Graphics
The original game had a hand-drawn animated art style, but it’s going to be reworked into full 3D graphics. It is going to have higher-resolution visuals, improved lighting, smoother animation, and more vibrant colors, which is going to be amazing.
Why Fans Are Excited
I played that game when I was younger, and when I heard that the game was returning, I was really thrilled to see what it was going to feature this time. Beautiful artwork, enhanced graphics, classic gameplay, co-op gameplay, and more are exactly what I would love to have.
Release Date
Rayman Legends Retold is scheduled to be released on October 1, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is available for pre-purchase on Steam.
