Who Is Blade?
Blade is a character first seen in Marvel comics, then we saw Blade in movies. The story is about Eric Brooks, who is half human and half vampire. He has the speed and strength of a vampire without vampire weaknesses. Brooks is mostly known as Blade, who wants to defeat and stop the vampiric invasion in Paris. Apart from that, he also struggles with himself because of his vampiric heritage. He is a swordsman who also uses advanced weapons and gadgets.

Story & Setting
Yes, there is a good side to Blade that wants to save humanity from vampires, but he also wants to eradicate vampires to avenge his mother’s death. The game is set in Paris, France, where the city is run by fearsome vampires. The goal of the vampires is to prey on humans and invade the rest of the city. Blade has a centuries-old history, so we are going to have a rich narrative backdrop of previous times. In the game, we expect a lot of secrets with hidden passages full of story.

Gameplay & Combat
Blade is mostly going to use swords, firearms, specialized vampire-hunting gear, and tactical tools. With that, there are multiple approaches to combat that encourage creative problem-solving. There is a possibility that we see different types of vampires that have different abilities, including bosses. We also see speed, regeneration, and more.
Why Arkane Lyon Is a Perfect Fit
Before taking this project, they were well known for making the Deathloop and Dishonored series. On top of that, they also have creative combat systems and strong world-building. Because of their prior games, it is a good fit for Blade.

Conclusion
I have seen the movie Blade, but because it has been a long time, the graphics are not 4K. I thought that this wonderful story deserves a chance, and finally I am going to see the Blade story in the form of a game. I think this game is going to be a hit. To be honest, I don’t have the patience for this game to release in 2027.
