Story & Setting
It is important to know there are 2 Timelines that are presented in the game. The first one is about Sophia, a girl who has had dreams about the islands since she was a kid and knows that she’s grown up. She is really exploring a mythical island with her friend . The other one is kind of a mystery because we only that your going to playing as Theseus 2000 years ago And there is some kind of link between Sophie and Theseus
Gameplay & Combat
The main thing about Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is the dual world timeline mechanic. Both periods can be switched between middle age and Minoan period. On top of that, the best can really affect the future which is never seen before and on top of that personally, I think to find clues you have to switch to the past.
If we talk about the combat system in the game compared to other games, this game is gonna be leaned more on the combat system and not rely as much on stealth.I’ll give you one example the studio was forced to learn how to make conversation in the development of this Game. This game is taking a new route compared to previous game Series. If you look at the comment, it’s gonna be something like Fast dodging, contra strike, and time based attacks. Personality is what I like the most is that when the enemy attacks is a red star appearing then what you have to do is not new but easy to adapt. Also see that the enemy has patterns like at first they attack you slowly and once the time is gone, they will come fast with the attack.HQ is gonna give you one HP recovery point. The more you Level up then why you can Unlock moves, combos. But let me tell you that stealth It’s not totally gone from the game.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is gonna Be filled with puzzles like it’s gonna give you uncharted vibes, Same ruined temple With a lot of traps and a lot of puzzle to solve

Graphic wise,Personally, I think this matches the uncharted game It has everything.
Why Fans Are So Excited
They had success with their previous work Because of that they’re taking you step towards the future games and this game has new combat system different timeline system that is filled with mythology and have much more to it so I don’t know why that fan. She did not be excited about this game.
Expectations & Concerns
The one thing I’m concerned about is that the humour in the game is connected to their previous words which I personally don’t know so I’m gonna be left behind and I don’t really like that. Otherwise everything is perfect.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy was announced at summer game fest on eight June 2025 and is scheduled to be 27 August 2026 for PlayStation five Windows and Xbox series X/S.
