Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is an upcoming game that brings us back to the honorable war of Vietnam. Apart from that, if we have an up-close look, it has massive multiplayer battles, more authentic weapons, a more realistic jungle, and more. It is going to be something never seen before.
After the success of realistic World War II battles, it is sure that Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is going to be a major breakout. This time, it is all about the war that happened between the USA and Vietnam. The game features things that were present in World War II battles.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is not based on a specific historical story but is more about recreating the atmosphere of the Vietnam War. Much of the game is inspired by that war, including the locations, vehicles, abilities, and more.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is played between two teams of 50 players each in a first-person perspective. Because of this, the game does not depend on individual skill; it is mostly about teamwork. The first team is the United States Army, and the other side is the Vietnamese Army and the Viet Cong.
If we talk about the maps, at the launch of the game there are going to be several maps, and more locations are going to be added through updates. The maps do not represent the real battlefields exactly but are more inspired versions. According to the game, they are inspired by moments of the war, like Operation Starlite and Operation Piranha. The things that you can commonly find in the maps are jungles, beaches, hills, and rivers.
Depending on which team you’re on, you have different abilities. For example, if you choose the USA forces, you’re able to use helicopters, but if you choose the other team, you can make tunnels. So both teams get different abilities. Helicopters are more for aerial firepower, while making tunnels helps you avoid being detected by helicopters, so it’s going to be pretty balanced. There are also different types of roles in the game, like grenadiers, machine gunners, snipers, and more.
They also added new actions like swimming, climbing, and crawling after your teammate is down. You also have the option to drag your injured teammate to safety. The realism of the guns is also going to reach another level with this game. For better communication, there’s going to be proximity chat.

There’s a rumor that says there are going to be four modes, but it’s possible they’re going to add more: Warfare, Offensive, Conquest, and Domination.
The previous game was a really big hit, and many of the people who liked the previous game are setting their eyes on this one, so they’re pretty excited. It’s not only going to attract previous players, but also new players just by looking at the game because it’s also bringing the atmosphere of the Vietnam War to life.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is going to be released on August 13, 2026, on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox Series X/S.
The game is going to run on Unreal Engine 5. Personally, the only thing I didn’t like is the animation when you revive your teammate. It’s a bit unrealistic, but at the same time it’s a small thing. There are 100 other things that need to be appreciated, and this is just one minor issue.

Will Hell Let Loose: Vietnam focus on teamwork?
Yes, it is focused on teamwork because, first of all, you need to communicate and move as a team. If you go alone, it’s for sure you’re done.
What makes the Vietnam setting different?
Everything is different about this game because it’s trying to recreate the atmosphere of a real war. There are going to be plenty of differences compared to the previous World War II game, like the dense jungles and many other features.

Personally, looking at the trailer of Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, it looks fantastic and amazing, and when you play this game, it’s also going to deliver that same amazing experience.
