Introduction

Most keyboards focus mainly on feel, sound, RGB lighting, and design, but this keyboard focuses mainly on a luxurious gold aesthetic. The keyboard was first seen at CES 2020.

What it is

The layout is the same as a standard XPG Summoner with 104 keys, volume roller,RGB lighting, media controls and wrist rest.

The keyboard already has extra quick access controls and a wrist rest that improves comfort for everyday use.

This is where we see the twins. The keyboard is gold-plated with aluminum underneath the gold. Because of this material, the keyword is heavier than the normal keyword.Because of the heavier metals used to construct this keyword, they feel more premium. This keyword is already flashy with the gold plating the RGB makes it more unique.

The reality of ADATA GOLDEN SUMMONER

ADARTA does not clarify the specs of this keyboard, but is there somewhere an XPG summoner keyboard with Cherry MX switches. It uses the switches because these switches are really well known for fast response time, durability, and tactical feedback. Cherry MX could be found in other varieties like MX red and MX silver speed. So, looking closely is just a normal keyboard with gold-plated.

Rarity and purpose

This keyboard was not planned. It was a request from a wealthy customer and a company. According to TechRadar. Seeing their benefits, I decided to make six of them, which proves this keyboard is a showcase or a VIP gift item.

On top of that, it helped get more attention by making something  never been seen before. Behind the request, the main focus was to get attention, visitors and hit the headlight and they’re pretty successful with that. Because, according to my personal opinion, this is a big project and only a request for my fans is not enough, so there was another reason that they built ADATA GOLDEN SUMMONER. Because there were only six of them, it’s also a collector’s item.

Price and cost

It said the microplate of these units is $10,000, but the prediction cost should be around $2500. The thing is, it is a normal XPG summoner keyboard that retails around $150, nothing new; they just changed the material of it. It’s not even fully gold. Just gold-plated for me. The price doesn’t make sense. Play cool is gonna pay 9850 for the aluminum and 24 karat gold.

Practicality / Who Is It For?

There are no features in this keyboard. But the real value comes in his exclusivity in his craftsmanship, and his unique materials. Why It Stands Out: Stand up because of its rarity and the appeals that are brought to the setup. His magic is mostly unique.
