INTRODUCTION

And no one is expecting the PS6 that early. But there are rumours about PlayStation 6, and PlayStation fans are curious about the upcoming PS6.

Finally, there is a new technique called Universal Compression that is going to help NVIDIA Neural Texture Compression, which will improve the efficiency of streaming compressed data to GPU memory, lowering power demands and also improving the frame rates.

THE LAUNCH DATE
here is no official release date. But it’s sure that they started planning the next generation of PS. There are rumours that the beginning of manufacturing will happen in 2027. The best guess is around 2027-2028.
If we look at the time frame between all the PlayStation release dates, there are approximately a 7-year difference. For example, the PlayStation 4 had seven years before the PS5 came out, and the PlayStation 3 was also around for seven years before the next generation showed up. If the PS5 was launched in 2020, then 2027 would be the release date of PlayStation 6

HARDWARE
It is 100% guaranteed that Sony will continue working with AMD to give new life to PlayStation 6and PlayStation 6 Pro.
The PS6 and the new Xbox are going to use UDMA architecture for their GPUs. AMD’s UDMA architecture is its next-generation GPU design. This is now used in the PS5, but the newer version can be 20% faster.
PS6 will reportedly be running on Zen6, which is going to attach to N2 architecture, and there is also going to be the GTX, AMD RDNA5.

Rumors also says that the PS6 would have species on par with an RTX 4080, that is 3x faster than the base of the PS5, and also going to have Ray Tracking, and be able to output games at 4K 120 FPS or 8K 60Fps.
PS6 FEATURES
There is one unique feature that could be a game-changer called the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR). This technology was seen in action in PS5 Pro, but is going to make a comeback with an improved version. This technology allows running at 4K 120 frames per second (fps) or 8K 60 fps.
There are rumours that the new generation will follow the PS5 slim feature, detachable disc drive, rather than have one built in. This is going to keep the price low, and it is also possible that the old detachable disc from the PS5 pro could be compatible.
THE PRICES
The shocking news is that Sony may be planning to release the PS6 at an incredibly low price of $500-$600. Just a reminder, this is still a leak. It is also said that the new Xbox is going to cost twice as much as the PS6. Yes, it’s sure that the Xbox is going to be better than the PS6, but the PS6 price is going to give a big advantage over the new xbox.
IS THERE GOING TO BE HANDHELD PS6?
There are also rumours about a new PlayStation handheld which is going to be part of the PS6 “family”. The device is going to be a companion device to the PS6.
