Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls the Next Big Fighting Game? Full Breakdown (2026)

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is a 2.5D fighting game. Players compete against each other with a team of 4 characters.  If we go into detail. When you start the game you pick 4 characters but you don’t control all of 4 at once. At the start of the fight you have the main fighter and the assist character. There are different types of Assist Forward Assist and Down Assist.These Assist are chosen before the match. In the future you should have more to choose from. As the game goes on you unlock the 3 other characters at your disposal by making big combos, Corner attacks and triggering a Wall Break. The whole team has one health bar. The health bar itself is called Vital Gauge. You have different types of Attack Light Attack which are fast with low damage, Medium Attack regular speed paired with  regular damage, Heavy Attack there are slow but it can deal high damage. There is also Unique Attack, which is the character’s special ability. During the fight you build a Skill Gauge and you can use it for two things.Use it for  EX moves the strongest versions of attacks or Ultimate Skill which is a big cinematic super attack.  When a player is about to lose they have a final resort called the Tokan Assemble that is Ultimate Team Move that can only be used when you have 150% 3 Assemble Gauge. That move is basically an instant KO move that your whole team attacks together. One thing that I like the most is when able to change character mid combo.
