A simulation video game with a football theme, EA Sports FC 24, was created by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and released by EA Sports. It is the first game in the EA Sports FC series, which took the place of the FIFA video game series after Electronic Arts and FIFA parted ways with FIFA 23. Additionally, EA enhanced the AcceleRATE feature with HyperMotion V, making it AcceleRATE 2.0. In the past, figures were rated according to one of three acceleration archetypes that determined how they moved when running; however, AcceleRATE 2.0 employs seven archetypes, which are still assigned automatically based on physical characteristics rather than player data (player statistics determine the figure’s speed).
